International students benefit from the same services as local students. However, exchange students have special services offered by the Office for socio-cultural affairs: Welcome day (campus tour, general info, presentation of the faculties, lunch, etc.); Cultural and recreational activities (dinners, ski camp, theatre plays, visits, etc.); Counselling during the stay. In addition, the very dynamic ESN student association (Xchange), funded by the UNIL, offers a buddy programme in partnership with the above-mentioned Service, and recreational activities.
